March Madness

We are all on spring break this week - even Craig! So needless to say we are just hanging out! The kids are driving me crazy since it's snowed twice now about 6" all together but most of it is melting - it's just cold and windy! I guess since March came in like a lamb for us, it's going out like a LION!
Some of the things we've done this month are: attended Craig's niece - Megan's wedding in the Mt. Timpanogos temple on the 7th, and got to see my Aunt Toni up from Tucson to help my Grandma Anne who was just out of the hospital with pneumonia, got all dressed up and went to the ISU ROTC Military Ball on the 14th and then we are all going to Brenner's baptism on Saturday. Ryan received his letter and an academic award for having a 3.5 or higher - he has a 4.2 right now - at the wrestling banquet on the 17th. Courtney is babysitting a lot - kids and dogs!, responsible for getting her YW leaders mail the rest of the week and getting ready for Girl's Camp with the big Kick-Off! She and Ryan attended a fireside for America's Junior Miss - Lindsey Britton. Joslyn reached her AR reading goal and was rewarded with soda and a game day at school. She learned how to make lip gloss at Activity Days too. Chad earned an ice cream party at school for getting all of his homework turned in on time. He and Joslyn are starting spring (!) soccer this week. Their school had McTeacher night at McDonald's on the 19th and unfournately we were in a fender-bender there too. The poor car's bumper and grill were scratched up a little bit ($700 worth!) but we were all alright, not even scary - just maddening!
I love March because of the nice and not so nice days, the robins are back and the grass is starting to show a little color when it's not covered in snow! All of the new baby cows I see out in the fields and wish we could have one in the backyard!
The NCAA March Madness is on and I am home to watch it! A big "hello" to my friends Pam and Lee who are traveling there next week to actually see the game in person! College basketball is WAY more exciting the pros and you have to love the underdogs who make it in! Even though I have always loved Duke and Coach K - go Blue Devils!

Ryan's New Hairdo!

When your team is going to state, everyone gets the same haircut!
(Note the beautiful 18 roses Craig had sent to me at work to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary!)
