School has started and I think it's more work for me then the children! With homework and flute practice, I have yet to see the trumpet and Ryan assures me I won't either, piano practice and soccer two days a week, I haven't had time to think!
We had our first soccer games last Friday - "under the lights" and the rain clouds! It was so cold and wet! Joslyn's team lost, but played pretty good, now I can see who to play what position and who not to play what position! Courtney's team won! She played GREAT! Joslyn did good, she just doesn't have her mother's (and father's) competitive spirit!
Ryan went paintballing with the teachers and priests quorum last week - lots of fun! He only had 3 or 4 welts!
We have been showing our house a ton! But only 2 very low offers! What's wrong with people?!?!
We had a great time in Boise rocking out at the concert! People watching was a whole lot more fun then seeing 50 year old guys trying to move like they did 20 years ago!
I was rear-ended in Smithfield 2 weeks ago, that poor van is just going to roll over and die one day - I just hope it's not too soon!
Chad McKay turned the big 5 on the 5th of September! He's waited his whole life to be 5! As soon as he could talk (granted it wasn't until he was 3) he's told people he's 5. And he had been telling us for the last year or so he was going to change his name because, Chad McKay, doesn't sound good! (What does he know?) So it was going to be Harry Potter, which I could live with, but that morning, he informed me he was now Godzilla. It's hard to call your kid, Godzilla, in Wal-mart, but I did it! But it got me to thinking, I HATE hearing "MOM!" yelled through the house, it drives me crazy! So I've changed my name to "Princess". I think it sounds just right!
We won a free NEW video rental at the Duck Race at last week's high school game. We raced the ducks in the canal - can you say hick? But hey we won!
